Friday October 6th, 2017. Vancouver, Canada.

The final two workshops of LIVE2017 happened. Involving the selected emerging artists (ALIVE), these artists had the opportunity to work with all of this year’s visiting international performance artists.

Friday morning’s workshop, led by Maiko Jinushi, involved taking the artists for a walk through Vancouver’s Chinatown, equipped with photo, video, and audio recording equipment.

Friday’s participating artists were Theo Pelmus and Kristin Snowbird, Praba Pilar, Jörn J. Burmester, Geneviève et Matthieu, and curator Daina Warren.

Continuing with today's artists talks…

Methodically dripping
Submerged and gasping for air.

Hunched over, struggling to make her way across the room.
Her hand reaches out for help and she outlines the helper.
