In light of continued violence against Palestine and Iran, our eyes cannot turn away from the subjugation of the Middle East to imperialist intervention. The terms “threat, security and freedom” should not be weaponized to justify first-strike actions.
Art has always created and carried languages for political action, an opportunity to by making space and giving voice to public forms of expression and support. LIVE condemns any such aggression that escalates war crimes in the name of fear. All Iranian citizens deserve to chart paths to freedom free from violence and destruction of their homes and land and lives.
