Derrick Chang<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Derrick is a curator, educator and writer, his research critically examines the nature of ethics and the political in artistic practice. He has been honoured to be guided by the support and trust placed in him by artists, colleagues and volunteers throughout his career. They have worked across programming, education and development in addition to curatorial roles. That experience has led them to consider how we re-center our practices and ways of operating to value relationships to community, cultural and collectivity. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Danyal Imani<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Danyal is an Iranian visual artist currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. He earned his Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Simon Fraser University (SFU) and has showcased his work in various venues, including the Burnaby Art Gallery, SFU Audain Gallery, and Surrey Art Gallery. Notably, three of his paintings were chosen to adorn public art murals in Eihu Lane, Downtown Vancouver. Danyal’s paintings primarily serve as an exploration of colour and pattern making. Through his art, he conveys abstract aspects of everyday life, allowing patterns to interact and stir up memories while connecting with the subconscious. Imani’s paintings, in their material form, function as small archives, preserving significant moments from his life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Brady Ciel Marks<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Brady is the LIVE Digital Director as well as an artist and educator. She is concerned with our technological entanglement, and creates media configurations that express a middle way between technological fetishism and dystopian fantasies. She works with technology, against technological thinking and for marginalized voices using sound and light. Brady holds a M.Sc. in Interactive Arts from Simon Fraser University (SFU) and has recently been teaching at Emily Carr University of Art+Design in the New Media Sound Art area. She has long hosted the Soundscape Show and Podcast on Vancouver\u2019s Co-op Radio. Brady was born in shadow of Table Mountain, Cape Town South Africa and thrives on queer dance floors. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Liam Wilkins<\/h4>\n\n\n\n

Liam Wilkins (he\/him) is a fifth year theatre performance major at Simon Fraser University from Ponoka, Alberta.
