This fire was rumoured to be a crude Central American adaptation of the Nazi eugenics program &#8220;Action T4&#8221;, which executed thousands of psychiatric patients.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h4>Biography<\/h4>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">Naufus Ramirez-Figueroa (Guatemala City, 1978) is an interdisciplinary artist, working in video, installation, and performance. His work and research delves into folkloricism, sexuality, magical practises, the welfare of children in war, the experiences of refugees, and poetry. He obtained a BFA from Emily Carr Institute in 2006 and an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2008. He has performed and exhibited extensively across North and Latin America, as well as recent solo exhibitions in Casa America in Madrid and Akademie Schloss Solitude, Stuttgart, Germany.
