BIOBOXES: Artifacting Human Experience presents one-person shows for one-person audiences in a very intimate theatre: a box worn on the actors’ shoulders.
Theatre Replacement is the culmination of over ten years of collaboration and is dedicated to continuing the evolution of collaborative theatre making and ensemble training. Artistic directors, James Long and Maiko Bae Yamamoto are both graduates of Simon Fraser University, and are two of the co-founders of boca del lupo theatre. Theatre Replacement builds, produces and tours unique, small-scale chamberworks. They develop new work and further their artistic practice through creative collaborations between artists of different disciplines and approaches. We exist to redefine the performance experience.
